Flower Bowl - Black Dot

Is it a vase? Is it a bowl? Is it a plate? You decide! Made to hold a kenzan flower frog for ikebana floral design, this black stoneware ceramic footed vase is one of a kind and perfect for just about anything.

This piece was handmade using black stoneware clay and glazed by hand with tiny dots of black glaze all over the surface. The dots of glaze have a glossy and textural contrast against the clay. 

Use it as it's photographed with a kenzan flower spike or use it for a fruit bowl, or a catchall by the front door. This piece is versatile!
