Plate Glazing Course - June 23, 2022
Are you interested in learning how to glaze your own ceramic pieces? Glazing can be a challenging step in the finishing process of ceramics, and having some guidance helps when you're not sure where to begin. Whether you are a beginner or a repeat student, getting to glaze your own ceramic plate allows for the perfect flat surface to get creative on. Express yourself with colorful glazes and fun patterns while having Emily as your guide to help bring your vision to life on your plate.
This glazing course takes place in Kansas City, Missouri, and is taught by Emily in her Crossroads shop and studio.
This class takes place on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022. The class starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 8:00. All plates are made and bisque fired ahead of time, ready for glazing, and all glaze and finishing supplies are provided. Plates will be fired and will be ready for pick up two weeks after the date of the course. Finished plates will be approximately 9 1/2" in diameter.
