its been feeling like spring here in kansas and its got me ready for planting some new plants and getting my indoor // outdoor garden started! it might be a little early for gardening but its got me inspired to make some ceramic planters. perfect for all of my indoor plants, and hopefully something to add to the shop as well! i’ll keep you posted on that progress, but for now, these ceramic planters sure have caught my eye . . .
luke’s reception is tonight! if you live in manhattan, please come! (on campus, willard hall, 5-8pm) there will be food and a lot of good art to look at.

ok get this . . . i found out about a little ceramics exhibition at the clay studio in philly.
“small favors was conceived of in 2006 as part of the Studio’s ongoing effort to offer accessible, high-quality artworks that appeal to ceramic enthusiasts of all ages: older collectors who are challenged for space and young fine art collectors who are challenged for money.” that sounds right up my alley! i love collecting small things, primarily because my budget is small, but also because i just love being able to hold something in my hands.

oh, i’d give anything for the chance to go back to paris. just seeing pictures like this one gets my heart beating a little faster. i truly love that place.
have you heard of it? bloglovin? i just figured out its purpose today and i’m shocked i didn’t pay closer attention sooner! shame on me! its such a great idea . . . a ‘home base’ for all of the blogs you like to follow! i follow a lot of different blogs. bloglovin updates me when there’s a new post from one of my favorite blogs. instead of having 20 windows open on my computer, or forgetting the web address to the blogs i follow that aren’t in English . . . (sometimes its just hard to remember them all) it updates me when there is something new to read and keeps all of my favorites in on place. its brilliant!
