i am happily getting pieces ready to apply for another craft fair. this time its a holiday fair, and i have lots of fresh ideas in mind. i’m a happy maker over here!

i need a little more pattern in my life, and polka dots are just the thing!
i think just about anything food-related would look delicious on these spotted plates by sean o’connell. these plates sure would be a fantastic addition to my mismatched dish collection.
i think i’d also like to have a few polka dotted shirts, a pillow or two . . . really, anything that is polka dotted.

i love little ceramic boxes and jars. i have them scattered all over my place, the perfect spot to house all of my favorite little things. because i have lots of things and a lot of favorite things.
this beautiful box was made by Tomasz Jaremków
the one-of-a-kind ceramic vessels made by shio kusaka have become regular favorites of mine. the lines quietly follow along with the shape of each pot just perfectly. these images were from her first solo show at greengrassi, london.
don’t you just picture these on an antique dresser full of clip-on earrings and shiny vintage jewels?
that’s where i see ‘em.
i have two sets for sale in the shop!
buy a head vase!

i know i’ve spoken of jana evans‘ work here before, but i feel like i must tell you that i love it again, and again . . .
i think i’d like to drink some lemonade out of one of these cups, wouldn’t you?

i had to add some new pieces to the shop! check them out! all new vases. i just finished up a commission of 15 vases, and ever since i started i’ve been vase crazy! its about time to get some fresh flowers for around the house. enjoy your weekend!
well, this morning i found a new ceramic artist that i adore. her name is laurie goldstein, and she has the most beautiful and rustic-looking pottery. (gosh i am in love with that baking dish! and the espresso cups! and everything!) i always love finding some new artist to admire!
check out her shop for yourself!

my friend nick had the nickname ‘spoonie’ and everyone in town called him that. so a lot of times when i’m in a reflective mood and a spoon catches my eye, i think of spoonie. and these spoons from akiko graham instantly caught my eye.
