i can’t quite pinpoint why i’m such a sucker for tea towels, but there’s something special about a beautiful, handmade tea towel. when i got my sewing machine it became a goal of mine to start making my own.

why haven’t i done this yet?! it definitely needs to start soon. after my preparation for this next craft fair, i definitely want to sit down with a blanket and start some sewing projects. towels will definitely be happening.

leah duncan‘s southwestern tea towels are just my thing right now. i love the screen printed design. i have several books on using printing techniques on textiles, and digging into those has got to be another goal of mine!
