diy all-natural, multi-surface spray

8.06.2012

i have something fantastic for you on your monday afternoon. this has become my all time favorite cleaning product. i use it everywhere because it smells so good! i used to think that every time i cleaned i needed to smell all the chemicals in order to know that its clean. whoa, how wrong was i?! my friend wrote down this recipe at some point, and i’ve been using it ever since! it is time i shared it with you.

all-natural, multi-surface cleaner

1    1/2 cups water
1  tablespoon white vinegar
1/8 cup (or less, never more) dr. bronner’s pure-castile soap
10-20 drops essential oil

use a recycled spray bottle (or a new one) and add the ingredients in the order listed. i used peppermint dr. bronner’s and peppermint essential oils – i like it extra minty. my friend used rose scented dr. bronner’s – so experiment with your favorite scents, and research which essential oils fight germs the best. (like tea tree, clove and eucalyptus.)

and i wish i’d bought the larger bottle of this dr. bronner’s magic soap. i can’t help but love the label – so scattered and so many words, or “the moral abc” designed to unite mankind. there’s an interesting documentary out there about this dr. bronner’s fellow. you should check it out!
