i’m moving soon, but i don’t know where. i have super-high expectations for where i see myself and my creative profession, and i’m mad at myself for not being there already (which i know is very silly).  i know i have some new and exciting things in store for me, and i’m getting a little bit restless in the meantime. i’ve never been one for surprises . . . i like knowing what is going to happen next!

but for now, i’ll stay calm and quiet and be thankful.

oh my gosh, its february 29th! that doesn’t happen too often! i hope you are enjoying this extra day in february.

a little bit of floral print goes a long way, but my world is lacking even just the tiniest bit of florals! i think i’ve got to fix this!  this floral rug could really help out.

i can feel that i’m getting closer to finding my career path. i’m not exactly sure how to verbalize what it is i want to do with my life, but i can tell you that lately it is all i can think about. i feel that by continuing to blog and put effort into making and selling my ceramics, that i am getting one step closer to finding exactly what i want to do. things are on the up & up!

all i can think about these days are getting some professional-looking business cards. i need something that i can hand out to people who are interested in what i do. working part-time at a small deli here in town has me meeting a lot of people, and some people are truly interested in seeing what i do! its time to start handing them something other than a coaster with my website scratched across it . . . here are some that have me wanting my own, like now!

i’m starting to warm up to the idea of a non-traditional shape . . . square perhaps?

and then i’m reminded of my friend kaley’s business cards. they are stunning! the rounded corners, the matte finish . . . paired with her photographs, its just perfect. (on this particular card is my friend samantha and her tiny baby willa!)  i might have to take the route she took, designing my own cards from moo! hmm, lots to think about!
